In Celebration of

Gordon Joseph Eldon McDonald

February 14, 1949 -  August 11, 2025

On Monday August 11th, 2025 Gordon McDonald passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband to Claudette and father to Tracey and Megan. He can finally rest in peace after a two year battle with cancer.

Gordon is reunited with his father Eldon and mother Margaret, sister Grace and her husband Pierre and Chiko. He will be missed deeply by his siblings Bruce (Susan and family), Brian (Monica and family), Micheal (Gina and family), Patricia (and family) and Kevin.

Gord was a long-time volunteer with the GTHL where he coached for the Mississauga Jets and served on the board from 2011 until his retirement in 2024.

Gord was an avid golfer working for Glen Cairn throughout his retirement years. Gaining easy access to early tee times for him and his family. He could always be relied on for a source of laughter and will be greatly missed by the communities he worked with and the family who loved him so.

The viewing will be at Turner & Porter (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga ON.) between 6pm and 9pm on Thursday August 21st, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm Friday August 22nd, 2025 with reception to follow.

Memorial donations can be made in Gordon's honor to the Cancer Society or Trillium Health Partners Foundation.
