Gordon James Hinton

October 3, 1922 -  April 9, 2017

Passed away peacefully at age 94 at Cawthra Gardens LTC on April 9, 2017. Beloved husband for 71 years of Betty, Loving father of Linda (Doug), Grandfather of Kevin and the late Karen, Great grandfather of Andrea. Gordon proudly served Canada in W.W.2 in the 22nd Field Ambulance. He was employed for 25 years before retiring at the TDSB. Caring and generous, he helped many people along the way. Special thanks to the staff at Cawthra Gardens who lovingly and expertly cared for him.
If you wish, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Friends and family will be received at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Springcreek Cemetery.

Condolences to Gord's family. I worked with Gord over 30 years ago and always had fun having toast and coffee with him and the many others he invited every morning.
