<div itemprop="description">Suddenly, in his 90th year, at his cottage in Muskoka, on October 9, 2015. Gord was the beloved husband of 72 years to Betty. Loving father of Lynda Chubb (Calvin), Philip, Stephen, and the late Peggy. Proud and cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Michael), Matthew (Melda), Jesse and Lucan, and great-grandfather of the &ldquo;lights of his life&rdquo; Jack, Kate and Benjamin. Dear brother-in-law of Alice and the late Bryan Mitchell and Dorothy and David Sproule. Gord will be missed by his many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the Turner &amp; Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W, Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) on Thursday from 7 &ndash; 9 p.m. Funeral Service at St. Matthew&rsquo;s Anglican Church (3962 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke) on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. For those who wish, donations appreciated to the Kidney Foundation or to St. Matthew&rsquo;s Anglican Church.</div>
