Giuseppe Vendramin
July 13, 1932 - March 24, 2014
Born July 13, 1932, Pederobba, Treviso, Italy, became a proud “10 Dollar” Canadian Citizen in 1974. He came to Canada to work in a Kirkland Lake Gold Mine December 13, 1958, and later moved to Etobicoke, where he bought his first home in 1966.
He passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday March 24th, 2014 succumbing to his long term affliction of Alzheimer’s disease.
A kind and loving husband to his Wife Rina Maria and the BEST Dad to his 2 daughters, Maura & Dorina & their partners Rui & Gabor. Giuseppe worked hard his entire life so as to be the perfect provider to his Family.
He was a warm and gentle soul, a wonderful Husband, Father, friend, neighbour, co-worker, parishioner and even in the end resident and patient, known to all as “BEPPO” & most recently “PAPPA”.
His true passion for his garden turned into a steady flow of fruits and vegetables for his Family, a Winning Radicchio and a “Knock Your Socks Off” homemade wine. Giuseppe was a proud North York ALPINI Member who absolutely LOVED music, singing, playing his accordion and his sense of belonging to his Cultural Military Club.
He will be lovingly & happily remembered by everyone whose life he touched, and by his Family for his love of Saturday lunchtime French Fries, and Sunday Polenta e Coniglio. Rest in Peace Beppo!
Love, Your Family.
