July 22, 1953 -  March 14, 2023

Giulio Andrew Cassar, 69, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023 at Humber River Hospital after a long and courageous battle with glioblastoma.

Born on July 22, 1953 (Mqabba, Malta) to the late Paul and Nicolina Cassar. Giulio is survived by his devoted wife Lisa, sons Matthew (Mariana), Luke (Kelly), and granddaughters Isabel and Sofia. Cherished brother to Josephine (Charlie), and John (Nadya).

Viewing will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S 1P4) on Wednesday March 22, 2023 between the times of 5:00-8:00pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (3224 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6P 2A3) on Thursday March 23, 2023 at 10:30am.

Donations may be made to the The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund.

My condolences to my aunt Lisa, cousins Matt and Luke and rest of the Caesar family…He will be greatly missed. Uncle Julian I’m going to miss you. I will never forget how kind you were to me growing up and will never forget all those smarties you brought me when I was under 10. Will see you in the afterlife one day. How did I not know your real name was Giulio. Love ya!!!
