With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved Geralyn Pollard, whose gentle spirit and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her. Daughter of Girlie Pollard and Sookdeo Pollard (deceased). Sister of Alvin Pollard, Ian Pollard (Sherry), Esther Pollard, Richard Pollard (Jenny), Dianne Achaibar, Jeremiah Pollard (deceased), Morina Torres (David) and Larry Pollard.

Born and raised in the beautiful island of Trinidad, Geralyn was the cherished eldest of nine siblings, a role she carried with grace, strength, and a nurturing heart. In 1989, she made Canada her home, bringing with her the warmth of her Caribbean roots, her strong values, and her quiet resilience.

Geralyn was a proud college graduate of the Personal Support Worker program, dedicating her working life to caring for others with compassion and dignity. Her natural kindness and patience made her a comfort to those she served and a blessing to their families.

A devout Christian, Geralyn’s life was a reflection of her faith. She walked humbly, loved deeply, and found joy in the simple things, her family, her shopping trips, and her well-known sweet tooth that always brought a smile to those around her.

She lived a life of simplicity, yet her impact was profound. To her many nieces and nephews, she was a wonderful and loving aunt, and to the next generation, a proud and cherished great-aunt. Her presence was gentle, her laughter soft, and her love constant and true.

Geralyn will be remembered for her caring heart, her quiet strength, her devotion to God, and the warmth she gave so freely. Though she is no longer with us in body, her love remains woven into the fabric of our family forever.

She leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and family unity that will continue to guide and comfort us.
