Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at age 84 years. George was a pioneer of the advertising industry and helped found Ogilvy & Mather Canada. He was an industry titan, widely known for a colourful style, accurate predictions of trends, and developing many of its future leaders. Devoted husband of 52 years to Alice. Loving dad of George (Sandrine) and Alexander (Kristen). Proud grandpa of Grace, Madeleine, Evan and Eric. Brother of David (Phyllis) and late John (late Marlene). Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (east of the Jane subway) on Sunday from 2- 5 p.m. A Private Funeral Service will be held.
