In Celebration of

George Jiri Prajza

January 7, 1956 -  May 2, 2020

It is with great sadness, that our family announces, the sudden passing of George Prajza. George was born in Toronto and was one of three children of Magdalena and Frank. He is survived by his older brother, Rudy (Jacqueline) and his twin sister, Marrey. George will be sorely missed by his cherished daughters, Erika and Julia, and wife, Paula. His love for each was endearing and everlasting. George will be especially missed by his Aunt Maria, and Uncle Tonda, his many Prajza family members, and the Glover clan. George will be truly grieved by his close friend, David.

George was a leader in Catholic Education. He spent over three decades as a Teacher, Consultant, Principal, and Supervisory Officer. He was an inspirational educator who loved what he did.

George was an engaging and effervescent person. He was creative and had an artistic vision whether it be decorating cakes, wrapping gifts, creating flower arrangements or decorating our home for Christmas.

Many people were invited to share in George’s adventure and love of travel. He captured each experience by eloquently and descriptively writing a travel log. Stunning and captivating photographs highlighted the joy of travelling. George’s “joie de vivre” will always be remembered.

A private family service has been held. Remembrances in George’s name can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish or a charity of your choice.
