George Forrest

June 27, 1931 - November 10, 2025

The family is saddened to announce the passing of George on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Southlake Hospital, at the age of 94.

Loving and devoted father of David (Jennifer), Michael and Marianne. Grandfather to Lauren. Predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Forrest, sister Doris Sidley and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. Dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling) on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11 a.m.

Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Woodbridge.

David, Michael and Marianne - We were sad to hear about the passing of uncle George. I had heard many great stories from Rossie and Irene about his garden and how he grew things for the neighbours. Steve enjoyed his conversations with George and always told me of them. I will remember him fondly and Trish, Kai, Quin, Jett and I wish we could be there for his celebration. With love - Lawrence

George was a kind and loving Uncle whom I greatly admired and cared for. My mother Doris Sidley loved him dearly and fondly recounted wonderful stories from their childhood. He was a wonderful brother to her. I wish I had more time with him, but the time I did have was very precious. I will miss his stories, smile and laughter.
