Passed away at her home on Monday, April 27, 2020 on her 88th birthday. Beloved wife of Joao (predeceased). Much loved mother of Cecilia (Duarte Correia) and Tony (Marci). Loving grandmother of Jennifer (Steve), Daniel (Wendy), Lindsay (Jon), Leigh-Anne (Rui), Austin (Chyanne) and great-grandchildren Alyssia, Matteo, Caleb, Baby C, Olivia and Maddison.

A private family service will be held on Wednesday April 29th. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A celebration of life to be held on a later date.

If desired, donations may be made to the Lung Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My deepest condolences to the family. I remember many times that Genoveva came to mass with the family. Interesting that God wanted her with Him on her birthday. God bless her and the family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren had a very special treat having her in heir lives.
