It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gayle Pluem on Friday, August 29 at the age of 80. A woman full of laughter and kindness, who firmly believed “attitude is everything”. She will be greatly missed by her son Jason (Shannon), grandchildren Mitchell (Michelle), Jordan and Alice and great-grandson Hunter. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Cynthia (Ken), as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Rick, grandsons Alexander and Justin, and her brothers Doug (Bev) and Ken (Jean).

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 12 from 2-4pm at Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel at 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga Ontario. Donations can be made in Gayle’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society

The friendship has been long distance for many years. We were friends together in public and high school. There were 6 of us and through the years have kept in touch via fb and mutual friends. She fought a good fight and will always be remembered by me for a skit she did in high school mimicking a character in a movie. Till we meet again.

Sisters are special! Gayle and I over the past few months have shared memories from our early childhood to present day.
Gayle’s pain over the past few weeks became intolerable. Her pain is now over.
Gayle, I will watch for signs and know you are close by.
