In Celebration of

Gary James MacFarlane

April 6, 1950 -  March 20, 2018

Unexpectedly, on March 20, 2018, at his home in Port Colborne, at the age of 67. Born in Montreal, Quebec on April 6, 1950 to James Donald MacFarlane and Irene Olive (nee Hall). Gary is survived by his brother Bruce (and his wife Jocelyne Gosselin), niece Natalie (Ve Duong) and nephew David (Amanda Ceccarelli). Also, grand nephews Avery James Duong and Massimo James MacFarlane.
Gary was very passionate about family history and genealogy, and spent countless hours trying to determine if we were descended from the clan chieftans.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10 am, until the time of the service in the Chapel at 11 am.
For those who wish, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.

My sincere condolences to you and your whole family, Bruce and Jocelyne. Gary was such a lovable and memorable character with his big size and quiet, gentle demeanour. He truly reminded me of a teddy bear.
May he Rest In Peace and May your memories carry you through the pain of your loss.
I will always remember him fondly.
