Donald Gary Black
May 15, 1944 - December 14, 2015
Gary lost his battle early in the morning on Monday, December 14th at the Toronto Grace Hospital, at the age of 71.
He never lost a fight until this one was just too much. Gary will be deeply missed by his mother Helena, sons Jay (Christine) and Kevin (Stacy), and his daughter Jessica (Sean), and by other cherished family and friends whom were very close to his heart.
He has gone to join his brother Dan and sister Donna. We’re sure they’re having quite the party!
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday December 17, 2015 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday December 18, 2015 at 1 pm.
There will be a wake at Duffy’s Tavern following the service on Friday, all are welcome to join.
Donations in remembrance can be made to the Toronto Grace Hospital – Palliative Care Unit as thanks for the great care and compassion they provided Gary and his family in his final days. There is a link to their website herein or there will be donation cards available at the visitation and service.
