It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Auntie Gail. It was a blessing she went home to her maker and Lord on February 23, 2026, at the age of 84.
After a long 12 courageous years, Auntie Gail battled Parkinson’s and cancer with strength and grace, which inspired everyone who knew her.
Although the disease took much from her physically, it never dimmed her spirit, her wit, or her capacity to love.
Auntie Gail will remain forever in our hearts and prayers.
Auntie Gail based her life on the love of God, family and purposeful living.
We recall the impact Auntie Gail had on those she encountered along her journey.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Morris, of 66 years of Marital Bliss.
She is survived and treasured by her son, Steve, her granddaughters, Heather and Paige, grandson-in-law Austin, her sister Marion, sister-in-law Ethel, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sharlene, and many brothers and sisters.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, from 4-8pm.
A Graveside service will be held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:30pm (Everyone is welcome to join the family).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation and Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
