Frank passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 surrounded by family. Frank was born June 27th, 1947 in Carpanzano, Italy to the late Luigi and Carmela (Adamo) Vircillo. The family came to Canada in the 1950s and settled in the west end of Toronto. Frank attended St Basil’s boys’ school where he met and maintained many lifelong friends and memories. After graduation from Wilfred Laurier University, Frank went on to a career in social work with the Catholic Children's Aid Society and the WSIB. Frank was a good friend.
I will miss our discussions. They were always insightful and interesting. We sometimes agreed and sometimes we didn't, but he was always respectful and open to listening.
The one thing we both agreed was that golf was a stupid game. It got the best of us most of the time but he loved it. Especially the few moments when it went our way. Frank's golf swing was a work of art and like Frank, unique.
Thank-you Frank for being part of my life.
