It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Szura on June 9, 2020.

Originally from Chmielnik, Poland, Frank immigrated to Canada after WWII. He worked as a chef for thirty years at St. Joseph Hospital in Toronto, where he met the love of his life, Maria, his wife of 60 years.

Frank is survived by his wife Maria, his nieces Halina Waceawek in Poland and Anna Markowski in Germany, as well as in Canada by his nephew Stan and wife Angela, great-nephew Timothy, and the family of his niece Vera (recently deceased), husband Nicolas Sr. and their children Nicolas Jr. and partner Ivy, Martin and wife Pamela, Veronika and partner Richard, and Frank's great-great-nephew Richie.

Blessed to have lived a long life of 97 years, he will be deeply missed by family and friends that had the pleasure to have known him. Thank you to everyone for your love, support and prayers during this difficult time. Special thanks to Paramed for the home support they tenderly provided Frank over the many years.
