In Celebration of

Frank Joseph Reilly

July 13, 1937 -  October 9, 2021

Frank was born in Regina Saskatchewan, the second child of 6. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Margarite Reilly and brother Dan, Frank, leaves behind his brothers, Jack (Eileen), Pat, Tom and sister Maureen Antoniuk.
Frank is survived by his wife Bev, their children Damian (Alessia) and Pam and grandsons, Kaeden and Joel Zacharuk-Reilly all of whom he loved dearly. He is fondly remembered by Mike Karn, Beverley Karn , Andrea Pember and their families as well as Ann Reilly, Diane Reilly, Rod Antoniuk, Chris Zacharuk and his many nieces and nephews.
As a young man, Frank spent 7 years in the Canadian Navy, an experience that instilled in him an avid, lifelong interest in the military and history and resulted in many years of volunteer work with the Royal Canadian Legion including advocating for veterans. Upon completion of his MSW (Master of Social Work), Frank focussed his career in the public service sector and concluded it as Manager of Long Term Care in Toronto.
Frank made a strong impression on anyone he met. He was a passionate man, with a wicked sense of humour; he loved life and lived it with vigor whether riding a motorcycle, curling, “chatting”, entertaining his grandsons or enjoying gatherings with family and friends. Frank fiercely advocated for issues he believed in – always! In the last five years, health challenges, including cancer, slowed Frank down. His tenacity remained strong during his life journey.
A gravesite burial service (outdoors) for Frank will be held on November 11 2021 at 1pm at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery 7300 Highway #27 Woodbridge Ontario.
If desired, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society

Frank will be missed by our family. He was the life of the party and added so much fun and laughter to our get togethers. I remember their wedding when Frank swept Bev off her feet and carried her to the car. It made this little girl dream of her someday knight in shining armour. Our prayers and love are with you Bev, Damion, Alessia, Pam and your boys.

Farewell to a true friend, a wonderful raconteur and someone for whom "bon vivant" was always an apt description.
