Peacefully passed away at home, on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Joan. Cherished father of Cathy Jowitt (George) and late son in law Richard Kaluzny, Donna Catalfamo (Joe), Laura Colero and Lisa Little (Hugh). Adored Nunu to Dana (Mike), Eric (Daina), Lauren (Mat), Emma, Sam, Megan, Lucas, Ethan and great Nunu to Calvin and Ellis. Dear brother of the late Charlie (late Cecelia), late George (Lee), Mary, Dorie Attard (Joe), Eddie (Winnie), Margie, Jimmy, Rita Matthews (Elton). Frank will also be deeply missed by his favourite pet, Maddie.

Frank was a very successful business owner and was very proud of all his employees and clients whom he worked with at Dominion Saw. He spoke of them all often over the years and had great stories of the ups and downs of business ownership.

The family would also like to thank the personal support workers and nurses of Spectrum Health Care as well as his long time physician Dr. Wong and cardiologist Dr. Tishlar.

In memory of Frank, remembrances may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

My condolences to the Colero family. I was a child when my parents rented two rooms in our house to Frank and Joan when they were first married. I have fond memories of them. We shared a house with one bathroom for our family of four and the Colero’s. They often babysat when my parents went out. I recall Frank being very funny and he always entertained us with his antics. My most vivid memory is a game he played with my brother and me. It involved a teacup which he put lipstick under and without us realizing we painted our face with it. I’ll never forget both Frank and Joan. They were such a charming couple and they became more like family then tenants. Rest In Peace Frank.

Our deepest condolences to the Colero family.

Frank was such a force of life and love, as was Joan. Always smiling and joking - a genuine people person. They don't make them like that anymore.
