It is with great sadness that the family of Franjo Brckovic announce his passing at Credit Valley Hospital on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in his 74th year. Best friend and cherished husband of Ana. Beloved father of Robert (Shelley) and Elizabet. Adored grandfather of Carmella, Sophia, Ivica, Antun, Kruno and step-grandfather of Matthew, Elizabeth and Aaron. He will be fondly remembered by his sister, Blanka (Jimmy). Franjo was predeceased by his sisters Mica (Drago) and Mira (Miso).

Franjo and Ana immigrated to Canada from Croatia in 1969. He worked many years at Toronto General Hospital. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Jelen - Canadian Croatian Hunters & Anglers Club. Franjo was active in the community, serving as Vice President of the Mississauga Croatian Seniors Club.

Friends may call Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel (2180 Hurontario Street), Mississauga Sunday from 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Church of the Croatian Martyrs (4605 Mississauga Road) Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga.
