We are deeply saddened by our Mother’s passing and hold great memories and love for her!

She died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family in the late afternoon of Thursday, October 23, 2025.

As a family we are proud to say Frances Corkill lived into her 94th year, a full and happy life. Born in Etobicoke, she was the daughter of the late Lillian and Sydney Goudge and older sister to Lillian and Marjorie. She was a loving wife and partner to the late John Clark for 56 years. She would want you to remember her by her love for family and her dedication to any commitment she made.

She was a loving mother to Ruth Barbara Ellen Tansony (Bob), Elaine Frances Weir (Calvin), John Douglas Corkill (Pola), Lawrence James Corkill (Nancy); a dear Grandmother to Ellen (Paul), Cheryl (Liam), Calvin James “CJ” (Alexandria), Brandon (Taylor), Cameron, Andrew, John Antonio (Gabriella), Michael, David (Chantal), Steven (Mel), Stuart (Amy), Matthew, and Erin; and a delighted Great Grandma (GG) to Ingrid, Freya, Heather, Lincoln, Vanessa, Charlotte, Theodore, Eve, and Heath.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter, Butler Chapel (4933 Dundas St. W, Etobicoke) on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Christ the King Anglican Church, (475 Rathburn Rd. Etobicoke) on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11 a.m. Refreshments to follow.
