It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Filippo at the age of 89. He was a devoted husband to Grazia for 61 years. Born in Italy, Filippo and Grazia made a life for themselves in Canada and raised a family. Filippo was a loving father to Maria (David Young), Leonardo (Donna Chambers), and Nick. He is remembered by his siblings Rosa (Luigi) Marino, Carmela (Mario) Valvano and Giuseppe (Grazia) Falcone as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Maria (Nicola) Rinaldi and Antonio (Donata) Falcone.

Visitation for family and friends at the Turner & Porter Funeral Home, Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga) on Wednesday, July 2 from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic’s Parish (625 Atwater Ave., Mississauga) on Thursday, July 3 at 11 a.m. Interment at Glen Oaks Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville).
