October 23, 1955 - September 30, 2017

Born on October 23, 1955 in Basseterre, St. Kitts. Died on September 30, 2017 in Mississauga, Ontario at the age of 61. Fifth child from the union of the late Wentworth Stanley Franks and the late Evangeline (nee Williams) Franks. Predeceased by her brother Jay Franks. Survived by her five brothers: Stanley, Samuel, Verd, Wentworth and John; three sister: Willa, Goldha and Estella; brothers-in-law: Errol Liburd and Klaas Stoker; sisters-in-law: Foy, Blondell, Paulette, Joan and Carole (Buffy); and many loving nieces and nephews. Fern will be missed. May she rest in peace. The family will receive visitors at Turner and Porter Peel Chapel at 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall, 2125 Erin Centre Blvd Dr., Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Online condolences can be made through www.turnerporter.ca
