Some of my earliest memories of my Ciocia Fela are probably with her two sisters and brother Tony in the backyards on Stuart Avenue. My mom Kazia would have been supervising some harvesting from the vegetable gardens or the makings of an impromptu picnic amidst much laughter as their flock of children ran laughing from yard to yard. The Jablonski family made the trek by car every few years during the summertime from Toronto to Winnipeg. Our three Winnipeg families reciprocated with our own road trips to visit. I realize now that these were some of the happiest times of my life.
Love you Ciocia Fela, may you rest in peace
