Suddenly, at his home, on October 4, 2022, at the age of 95. Survived by his wife of 71 years, Katherina, his children Richard (Angella), Norm (Kelly) and Linda (Ed) and his grandchildren Carly (Kyle), Michael (Leanne) and Amanda (Conor).
Eugene was an extremely proud Canadian who came to this country and through hard, often backbreaking work made a name for himself by creating a successful lock and hardware business. He passed the business to his son Norm and it is continuing to thrive as a third generation business being currently run by his grandson.
He was usually found fixing this or that around his home and spent many hours manicuring his lawn that he was very proud of.
