Eric Eggleton

November 18, 1946 -  October 27, 2023

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Eric after a battle with cancer. He died with family by his side on Friday, October 27, 2023. He will be deeply missed by his wife Susan, daughters Michele (Sean) Richards, Amanda (Garnet) Sim, and Erin (Michael) Mans, brothers Earle, Allen and Paul (Nives) and grandchildren Larkin, Colton, Teagan, Evelyn, Theodore and Benjamin. Eric began his working life as an auto mechanic then a motorcycle mechanic and then spent 25+ years at Ontario Power Generation, mostly in their inspection department, and retired in 2003. Over the years, he spent his leisure time as a weekend pilot, playing golf, watching car races and the Blue Jays on television, and working on his vehicles. Visitation is at 12:30pm on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Christ First United Church - 151 Lakeshore Rd W (just east of Mississauga Rd), Mississauga. A service will occur at 2pm with light refreshments to follow. The family is grateful for the care provided to Eric by Trillium Health Partners. Eric was such a talented man. Through our teenage and early adult years we called upon Eric's vast knowledge and talents on many occasions.
