In Celebration of

Emmanuel (‘Noli’) Sagolili

September 20, 1944 -  November 9, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emmanuel (‘Noli’) Sagolili, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend on November 9, 2024. Born on September 20, 1944 in Sibonga, Cebu, Philippines, Noli touched the lives of everyone he met.

Noli was a chemical engineer who immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1968. He worked for GE, RCA, Mitsubishi, Philips and Honda. His talents earned him a patent for RCA, a testament to his intelligence and innovative thinking. A strong family man, he did everything to ensure the security and comfort of his family and supported them whenever he could. He loved any opportunity to spend time with his family and friends, always ready to attend a party, listen to music and dance.

Noli leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his wife Judith, his children Darlene and Shawn, and grandchildren Cruz, Nico, Bennett and Beatriz. He is also survived by his siblings, Maria-Belen, Nelson, Agnes, Renan, Daphne, Fructuoso Jr., and Darryl, and preceded in death by his sister Edith.

Though we will deeply miss his presence, his spirit and love will continue to live within each of us and guide us.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks and appreciation to Noli’s healthcare team, especially Spectrum Health Care, Canes Community Care, and VON, who gave him such good care in the last few years.
