In Celebration of

Elzbieta Wodala

March 11, 1956 -  November 10, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Elzbieta. She passed away at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital on November 10, 2023, surrounded by her family. Diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer in September, she fought bravely until the very end.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Jan in 2012. She leaves behind her daughter Kasia (Brandon) Waloszczyk and her cherished granddaughter Izabella. Elzbieta was an incredible mother, “Babci”, daughter, sister, and friend. She lived life to the fullest and was excited to continue her travels after her recent retirement. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the opportunity of knowing her.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 3674 Lakeshore Blvd. W., Etobicoke, on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10 am.

My deepest condolences to you Kasia, and your family. Elizabeth was a lovely lady who I had the pleasure of working with in many different departments at Canada Post over the last 20+ years. Most recently, I worked with her at Courtney Park (Manual Finals) prior to her retirement. She was a kind and beautiful soul who always had a smile on her face. She loved her family and I had many conversations with her about our grandchildren. She loved her grand daughter who we always referred to as the “lady”.

I was happy to see her retire. I eagerly watched for her Facebook posts, to see her on her new adventures. We share your loss. May God uphold your family during this devastating time. So sorry for your loss. Elizabeth will be missed!🙏🏽🕊️🕊️
