Our beloved Mother Elvira Penna (nee Melito), passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Toronto at the age of 88 surrounded by her children. Elvira devoted her entire heart and soul to her husband Ross, her daughters Linda and Rosanne and to her son Mark. Elvira is survived by her children, her sister Maria Fiorillo, her brother Luigi Melito in Italy and her many nieces and nephews in Canada and in Italy. Beloved daughter to the late Emilio and Lucia Melito. Mom, we will carry our love for you in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor Street West), Toronto, on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church (3055 Bloor Street West), Toronto on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11 a.m.
