On April 10, 2026 our beautiful Mom danced her way into heaven. Elvira Pascuzzo (affectionately known as “Nonna Abba”) was born on July 11, 1929 in La Sila, Italy. Nonna Abba met the love of her life Saverio (affectionately known as “Nonno Sammi”) and together they emigrated to Canada in 1959 and
raised 4 children.

Elvira was a big personality in a small package. She was courageous, inspirational, loving. Known for her strong will and unwavering determination, she was one of few women in the 1970’s who became an entrepreneur. A ball of fire that showed us what can be accomplished with determination and and persistence despite her challenges.
However, her greatest joys and accomplishments were the love of her husband and the gift of being a Mom and Nonna.

She is survived by her children Sera (Fernando), Frank, Claudio and Elio, her grandchildren Serena, Melissa (Frank), Amanda (Aaron), Marc (Ida) as well as her great grandchildren, Adriana, Gabriella, Samantha, Joseph, Reis and Enzo.

She will be missed by many friends and families.
