Elvira Eleanore Moss passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at the age of 83. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Rudolph Moss, who predeceased her.
Elvira will be deeply missed by her loving family: her children, Esther Stickle (Reed) and Glenn Moss (Giselle); her grandchildren, Brendon Stickle (Alyson) and Ryan Stickle; and her cherished great-grandchild, Arthur Stickle. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Betty Krueger, along with extended family and dear friends.
Born on January 9, 1942, Elvira’s early life was shaped by resilience and hope. In 1949, her family left war-torn Germany in search of a better life, first settling in Argentina before eventually making their permanent home in Toronto in 1958. Fluent in both German and Spanish, Elvira carried her rich cultural heritage with pride throughout her life.
Elvira was known for her loving nature, unwavering faith, and strong work ethic. She expressed her faith through active participation in church life, including singing in the church choir and the Hansa Haus Choir. She worked faithfully for many years as a payroll clerk at Berkim Construction.
Alongside her husband Rudi, Elvira loved to travel and treasured time spent at the farm, where she found joy, peace, and lasting memories with family.
