It is with great heartache that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Sutherland on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the age of 84. Adored wife of the late George Sutherland. Beloved ‘Momma’ to Michael, Rob (Liane), Anne (Dave) Palmer and Carrie (Michael) Langstaff. The incredibly proud Grandmother to Jordan (Laura) Tanner and Lucas. Predeceased by siblings Jim, Murray, Teresa (Jack) Forth, Pat (Roy) Sprunt, Bob (Belle), and Fran Granger. Brother-in-Law Ken Sutherland and Sisters-in-Law Joy Sutherland and Isabel Davidson. Survived by her brothers Bill (Alva) and Leo, as well as Brother-in-Law Jim Granger. She was Aunt Betty and Great Aunt Betty and Great Great Aunt Betty to many nieces and nephews, a role she derived so much joy from.

If we live on in the hearts of all those we touch, then Elizabeth will live forever.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) Etobicoke on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Nativity of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, 480 Rathburn Rd., Etobicoke, at 11:00 a.m.
