It is with tremendous sorrow that the family of Elizabeth "Betty" Robb announce her passing on April 4, 2017 at Credit Valley Hospital in the palliative care unit, in her 90th year with her family by her side. Betty was predeceased by her husband George. Cherished mother of Dr. Lesley Wilton and her husband Russ, Blair and his wife Nicole. Adored Gran to Brandon (Patricia), Stewart (Natalie), Caitlin, Heather, Devon, Jennifer, and Amaya; and her great grandchildren Marcus and Aria. Survived by her sister Ruby (the late Dick) Wormald and her brother-in-law Joe McColl. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Anne, Alex, Nessie (John), Jean, Ina (Jackie), Archie (Ruby), Bill, Jessie (Harry), Jackie (Lily), Peggy (Joe) and Ann. Greatly loved by her devoted niece Jean (Al) Nelson. Cherished aunt of Jean (Jim) Gilchrist, Mamie (the late Hugh) Coyle, Rae (Jim) Easton, Jeannette (Colin) Cooper, Jim (the late Pat) Ewart, the late Iain (Cathy) Ewart, Sandra (Des) Burt, Ricky Wormald, Lynn McColl and many cherished grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Harild, Dr. Digges, and the caring nurses and staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Credit Valley Hospital. Your kindness made a difference.
Betty had many friends at Edenwood Seniors Apartments and at Extendicare on John Watt Blvd, where the caring staff were greatly appreciated. Many commented on Betty's happy outlook.
Betty was an active member of the Raising Voices Alzheimer's choir that is a joint program put on by the Mississauga Festival Choir and Alzheimer's Society of Peel. Donations to the society are welcomed at:
