<div itemprop="description">With her family by her side, Eileen Bricco gently passed from this life on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the wonderful age of 97. Mom was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Bricco (1969) and now rejoins him at the bridge table. An Irish farm girl from Drayton, Ontario, mom is survived by her seven children and their families. Loving mother of Sue Merko (Joseph), Elizabeth Bricco, Jim Bricco (Diane), Joe Bricco, Mary Bricco (Paula Walker), Anne Saundercook (Bill) and June Miller (Bill). Proud grandmother of Michael Merko (Julie), Elizabeth Piper (Duane), Matthew Merko (Laura), Alison Bricco, Meagan Bricco, Amy Saundercook (Nick), Luke Saundercook, Jenny Saundercook (Roger), Katie Saundercook (Mack), Emily Saundercook (Patrick), Paul Walker, Leah Walker (Paisley), Jonathan Miller, Ian Miller (Anna), Ryan Miller (Krystie) and Patrick Miller. Dear great grandmother of Nicholas, Gabriel, Pierre, Grace, Hannah, Alex, Hudson and Claire. Mom was the secretary at St. James School on Humbercrest Blvd in Toronto for 20 years and was a favourite with both staff and students. In her final months, we were lucky to have mom cared for by the compassionate staff of Lakeside Long Term Care Facility. We thank them for their many kindnesses to our mother and to us. Friends may call at the Turner &amp; Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2305 Bloor St. W., Toronto, on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. For those who wish, donations to St. Francis Table, Southern Ontario Sheltie Rescue, or to Lakeside Long Term Care Facility would be appreciated.</div>
