In Celebration of

Edna Aletha Leblanc

July 16, 1948 -  September 22, 2021

Edna passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 22, 2021 at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Nello (Buck) Zinanni.

Edna was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter and best friend, Lisa Germotte, and devoted to her partner Sherwin Grant. She was a super sibling to Lisa (Keith), Steve (Corry) and Andrea (Joe). Auntie to Katie (Kyle), Matthew and “Gwanny” to Nello. Family was always #1 with Edna – always! Edna loved her gardens, animals, Turner Classic movies and Leonard Cohen.

Though you will be missed, your life and love will remain in our hearts and memories forever. We love you, Sissy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Dearest Edna,
You were such a bright light to work with.

Edna. You were such a joy to be around, there was never a dull moment when you're around. May God wrap his hands around you and may he also watch over your family, extended family, relatives and friends and comfort each and everyone. Sleep well dear Edna.
