I met Edie when we both worked at CAST in 1983-84 and our friendship was formed, we worked together until we both took early retirement in 2012. We continued our friendship after retirement, which usually involved Edie spoiling me with her amazing culinary expertise. And a good old Chinese and gossip usually sitting in her beautiful garden. She was the most amazing chef. And gardener. We shared a lot of laughs and had a lot of the same interests and hobbies. Our daughters were the same age, we could sit and talk for hours. Edie’s pride and love of Sonia, Sarah and Roberta was always #one. She was over the moon when she became a grandma of two sweet boys. I will miss you so much my dear friend, and send my deepest sympathies to your girls, Bob and her sister Diana. Rest In Peace my friend.

She will always be remembered with a huge smile on her face and the kind and caring heart she shared with everyone she met either it being at camp kretinga, and or day to day life outside of camp. She will be missed by many but her memories and love remain
