In Celebration of

Dr. Walter Blaise Kruzel

April 11, 1933 -  September 1, 2018

Born in Toronto, Ontario April 11, 1933. With family by his side, passed away on September 1st, 2018. Walter is survived by Kristine, his devoted wife of 51 years, his sons John, Adam (Barbara) and Robert (Fay), grandchildren Victoria, Lauren, Kaden and Alex. Born to John Kruzel and Veronica (nee Warenda), Walter was raised in the Junction area of Toronto above his father’s tailor business. Having accelerated two grades in elementary school, Walter attended high school at St. Michael’s College School, playing hockey for the Buzzer’s and gaining lifelong friendships along the way. He attended the University of Toronto, earning his degree in Dentistry in 1956. Due to the demand for Polish speaking dentists, Walter’s practice in Bloor West Village flourished for 58 years until retirement in 2014. Walter had a full and engaging life, a passion for golf, downhill skiing and for the cottage on Lake of Bays, otherwise known as Niemozliwa Lodge, where family and friendships would be embraced. Remembered for his contagious laugh and his generosity toward his patients, friends and family. We are grateful for the wonderful care provided by all the staff at the Weston Terrace Care Community.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
