In Celebration of

Dr. Ljiljana (Lily) Orlovic

October 31, 1958 -  November 24, 2022

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and beloved dentist.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ljiljana Orlovic at Credit Valley Hospital on November 24, 2022, after a lengthy battle with illness.

Beloved wife of Zarko, Loving mother of Ivana (Anthony) and Alexander. Cherished grandmother of Luca. Special sister to Slavko.
Predeceased by her mother (Branislava) and father (Ivan).
She will be deeply missed by her family members, friends, and patients.

Lily graduated from the University of Belgrade's School of Dentistry in 1983 and immigrated with Zarko to Toronto Canada in 1987. They saw Canada as a place of endless possibilities and dreams and worked tirelessly to provide a bright future for their growing family. Lily overcame obstacles, including learning English and qualifying for her degree in Canada. As a result, she was able to open her first practice in Etobicoke in 1998 and later in Mississauga. Lily helped thousands of patients over the years.

Lily always wanted her family to experience life through travel. For them, she planned numerous trips around the world every year and her happy place was always beachside in Cuba. Those adventures are something the family will always cherish.

We thank the staff and teams at Credit Valley Hospital and Juravinski Hospital for their compassionate care and support.

Friends may visit at the Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga), on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m

In lieu of flowers, and to honour Lily’s generous spirit, please consider donating to Credit Valley Hospital Cancer Centre.

So sad that Lily passed. I will remember her from dental meetings, where she always dressed to impressed and always spoke so proudly of her children, Alex and Ivana. She leaves behind a legacy of her children who are both health professionals helping others as she did with the thousands of patients she served. She touched so many lives. I am blessed to have met Lily. May her family, friends and patients get through the sadness with warm memories of her.
