I cannot believe that I won't see his smiling face again, hear his humorous poems again, or to have my day made brighter simply by him coming by to say "hi". He will definitely be greatly missed by all those who had the privileged to have known him, to have met him, or who were his patient.
Dearest Leszek, we love you and miss you like crazy! Thank you for being a part of our lives!

Remembering Leszek.
It was another lovely summer day, last Wednesday. Maybe a hint of the coming fall in the air- but still lovely. But I was restless after hearing of Leszek. So I walked thru the woods to his cabin...
Stopped by the "sculpture" on the shore and touched the weathered wood - remembering Les working on it one day years ago. His quirky woodshed a few steps away...the image of his personality. Silence on the dock - but in my memory, a picture of Les and Wally enjoying late afternoon sun, as was their habit...Looking thru the window, the jacket is hanging on the chair where Les had left it, his notebook open on the table with his pen to the side. Can't see the notes, but imagine something reflecting on his lively intellect.
Time to shed a tear and remember the good times with Les.

You left us too early, You left us suddenly in deep sadnes. We were oceans apart but at heart we were always close. We grew up together. You impressed us with your ambition, determination and sense of humor. You were an example for all of us.
