It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Janusz Swierczek on January 7, 2021. Beloved husband of Mariola. Loving father to Sacha (Ann) and Justin (Robyn). Proud grandfather to Ollie, from Australia. Brother to Halina and brother in law to Mark. Caring uncle to Marcin, from Poland and Mathew. Janusz will be deeply missed by family, friends, colleagues and patients. For those who wish, donations may be made to CAMH.

Both Connie and Steve will miss Janusz very much. He was a true friend and loved by our family including Ali, Eric and Matt.
We will always remember the many trips to the Caribbean and the great fun we had.
Our dinners, Stratford and the Shaw as well as New Years in Lake Placid.

He has helped me through some very difficult times since about 1984 - that's about 27 years. He is a lifesaver. I will miss his smiling humour and very constructive advice. He is irreplaceable.

Liz and I express our sincere condolences on the passing of Janusz. We know Mariola very well from our university days and we know both of them from the cottage at Cawaja beach. In addition, I knew Dr. Swierczek as a professional collegue. He was very helpful to me when I need his expertise with Polish speaking patients.
