Dorothy Reeves

Sister, confidante and friend to her departed brother Kenneth. Dearly loved by her nieces Katherine, and Margaret, and nephews Mark and Paul. Beloved great aunt to Kayleigh, Brendon, Daniel, Meaghan, Alec, and Jordan. A woman of integrity, kindness, love and deepest, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. A dedicated and active member of the Anglican Church who played an instrumental role in ensuring the youth of the community grew to know the love of Jesus Christ. Comforted and supported grieving families in her duties with the Toronto Police Association. She will be deeply missed by the many souls that were blessed to have been a part of her life. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 719 Dundas Street East., Mississauga, on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy donations to St. John’s Anglican Church or to Camp Koinonia would be greatly appreciated.

To the family of Dorothy Reeves,
I was saddened to hear the news of Dorothys passing.

I met Dorothy when we were at McCall Centre for Continuing Care. Dorothy and I were on the Pastoral Care Committee. She was such a kind person and so faithful to our Lord. I was surprised when she was moved to The Wenleigh where my Mom was moved to. I saw her every few days when she took walks around the building. I am so blessed to have known her. May She Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.

I always knew that this day would come, but prayed that it would hold off as long as possible.
Any and all of the time that we spent together was so special and important to both of us.
I will miss you enormously my dear friend, but I will always have wonderful memories.

Dorothy was one of the kindest, wonderful people I have ever met. She was always there to guide me upon the death of my husband who was an active member on the police force. I am always greatful for her kindness and assistance at this most difficult time for my family & me. Our thoughts are with you. She will be missed.
