In Celebration of

Dorothy Joan Noble

July 18, 1935 -  March 2, 2018

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Dorothy Joan Noble (nee Hegarty) on Friday, March 2, 2018 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Alfred Noble for almost 60 years. Loving mother of David, late Mark, Gillian (Michael Armstrong) and Andrew (Brandy). Much loved grandma of Austin and Rachel Armstrong, Liam Noble, Kyle Noble, Jake and Drew Noble. Dear sister of Carolyn and Gail.

Joan was born in Toronto on July 18, 1935, but lived most of her life in Mississauga. Joan loved reading, baking, crosswords and her rose garden. She was the unofficial neighbourhood watch from her living room window. Family gatherings and her grandchildren brought her immense joy. She will be dearly missed by many family and friends. Our world will not be the same without her. We will remember and love her forever.

Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Trillium Health Partners - Credit Valley Hospital and Mississauga Hospital for their compassion and care.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 3 p.m. with visitation beginning at 2p.m. Cremation will follow with a private family interment at a later date.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Noble Family. Mrs. Noble (Joan) was a great person and friend. She was a pleasure to see and speak with on daily basis. She has left a lasting impression on our family and is held in high regard in our hearts. She always had her fingers on the pulse of the neighbourhood and would tell you exactly how she felt...good or bad. She was like a mother to us all on Claircrest and was a great friend to Tommy, checking in on him from time to time. She will be missed very much by our family, but remembered always.

With Love and Respect,
Tommy Francisco, Mike Francisco & Paul Francisco

Joan was a sister I never had. We shared so much as young mothers. True friends can mean more than family. Joan was and always will be in my heart.

My heartfelt condolences to the Noble family. Mrs Noble was the rock of our neighborhood. She was a caring mom not only to her kids growing up but to all of us kids.
Now she is the angel that will watch over her family and the neighborhood.

I am very sorry for your loss.
Boris
