I grew up in "the court" as a close friend and neighbour of the Pojaujis family. Mrs. Pojaujis was a second mother to me as I spent many hours in their home playing with Irene and Ann. She always made me feel welcome as I shared many of her delicious meals and baking too. Dorothy was a wonderful woman and continued to be a friend over the years. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
We are so sorry to hear of Dorothy’s passing. We fondly remember family gatherings with wonderful meals and as always lively discussions!
Sadly we will be away and cannot attend the funeral but Dorothy and all the family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
With love, Dorothy, Pete, Gates and Kale
Dorothy was an incredibly strong woman. She loved and cherished her daughter and granddaughters. She will be missed by so many people. My favorite memory was when she was staying with us and wanted to hold my son's bearded dragon. The dragon then proceeded to defecate on her shoulder. She handled it like a champ and we had a good laugh about it. That dragon knew he had met his match.
Love you Dorothy, I will miss our conversations.
Dear Irene and Family,
Our hearts go out to you at the sudden passing of your Mom. You and your family are in our hearts and prayers.
Love
Christine & Mike
We remember Dorothy's uncanny ability to draw everyone to her & her home & we enjoyed being a part of that.
