Peacefully passed, with her family by her side, on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the Village of Erin Mills, at the age of 74.
Beloved wife of Tony for 55 years. Devoted mother of Karen Barkin, Mark (Claudia), and Stephen (Diane Phu) Eichhorn. Loving Oma of Ethan and Daniel Barkin, Jeremy, Nathaniel, Xander, and Gavin Eichhorn.
Dorothea was an obvious artist from a very young age. Her favourite medium was oil painting, and she dedicated herself to her art.
Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Peel’ Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW), on Saturday from 12 - 2 pm.
Due to the limitations still in place surrounding COVID-19, space is limited, and all guests must register in advance.
The procession will leave at 2pm for the interment at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens at 2:30 pm.
