Doreen Harry (nee Bayley)

September 23, 1929 -  March 25, 2017

Peacefully in her 88th year, at Trillium Health Centre 100 Queensway West, Mississauga. Beloved wife of 69 years to Glen Harry. Dearly loved Mother of Linda Wilson (Rick), Beth Costin (Bram), David (Jo-Anne), Carolyn Harry (Barry Madill) and J Harry (Cheryl Cohen). Grandmother of Jamie Wilson (Jennifer), Darryl Wilson (Alejandra), Jeremy Wilson (Suzanne), Kate Costin (Philip Renaud), Emmett Costin, Reece and David Harry Jr. Great Grandmother to Avery, Nathan, Evan, Jayson, Marshall, Samantha, Natalie, Kaleb and Callie Wilson. Beloved sister to Allen Bayley (Laura), Eric Bayley (Doreen, deceased), Warren Bayley (Barbara) and Gordon Bayley (deceased). Special thanks to the excellent medical care she received on the 4th floor of Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga, the staff were so kind and generous of their time. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and neighbours. She was known for her kindness, generosity and big heart. Visitation will take place at Turner & Porter, Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Interment at St John’s Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga. Reception to follow in the Oak Room at the Cemetery. In Doreen’s memory donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Linda's Mom Doreen always had a warm beautiful smile and hug for me anytime I saw her. Always friendly and interested in how my family was doing. Being in her company always made me feel welcome, cared for and part of the family.

She will be sadly missed.

I cannot tell you how sad I am at the passing of Aunt Doreen. She was truly a lovely person and such a support for me. She was my second mom and I loved her very much. We will all miss her so much. May all of you be strong at such a terrible time. Lots of love, naomi
