Peacefully, on September 22, 2016, in his 90th year, following a brave battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Morrison (2002). Dear father of the late Christine Fischer (2016), Lynne Lyon (Dwight), and Don (Connie). Brother of Margaret Brillinger (Kelowna, BC). He will be forever missed by his six grandchildren Bryce, Phillip, Courtney, James, Kelsey and Scott. Don was born and lived most of his life in the West Toronto/Etobicoke area. He spent his entire working life at Bell Canada where he finished his career following his passion in human resources. He retired in 1988 and spent his summers enjoying the sunsets at the family cottage in Kincardine. Don will be reunited with his lifelong soul mate, Dorothy on this their 65th wedding anniversary. Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm., and 7:00pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral service will be held at Runnymede Presbyterian Church, 680 Annette St., (East of Jane St.) on Thursday September 29th, 2016 at 11:00 am.
