I met Don through work at Lennox in 1990. We quickly became friends and remained good friends ever since. No matter when I reconnected with Don through the years it was always like we had just seen each other the day before. I enjoyed my times with Don and those times we were with his family in Oakville. The last time he and I connected was through a video call when he was in China and I was in Nova Scotia. I'm glad that we did. Don was a one of kind kind of guy. He was smart, quick witted, and didn't suffer fools. He said what he wanted, did what he thought was right, and got shit done. Done was afraid of nothing and no one. I'm going to miss Don. Please accept our condolences on your loss earlier this year and for having to go through it all again after getting him back home. Typical Don: always causing trouble and always the one who's up for another adventure! Rest easy, my friend.

It is so sad to have lost Donald so young but he's in Heaven now with Mabe and Al. Dode was so much fun, I always remember him smiling when we were kids, he loved joking around and laughing. Let your memories of him bring you comfort knowing that he is at peace and will live on in your hearts forever.
