In Celebration of

Donald K. Price

June 10, 1956 -  November 1, 2020

Donald K. Price passed away suddenly at home in Mississauga on Nov 1st, 2020, at the age of 64.
Don will be loved and missed by his son, Gavin Price (Jeanette). Don & Gavin shared many memories which all began in 1986 the day Gavin was brought home from the hospital. Don enjoyed spending hours at the park with Gavin as a young boy, going for endless drives to get him to sleep, and many of the teachable moments in life as Gavin grew from a young boy to a man. Don spend most of his life ensuring success & happiness for his son Gavin, and everything he did was to support him through life. Don was a hardworking man, dedicated to his career and could never sit still, always finding something to keep him busy. Don’s final wish was to express to those who knew him “Thanks and appreciation for the time and the memories that were shared and thank you for your friendship.”

At Don's request, no services will be held, but there will be arrangements for a celebration of life in 2021.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Donald K Price at Heart & Stroke Foundation.

In honour of my very good friend I will not be sad when I think of him because we spent a great deal of fun time living life to its fullest. I knew him for the better part of our lives after meeting professionally at work, which is how Don met many a good friends. He was quick witted and irritatingly funny but he was the most genuine and all giving people that I ever met. He left many lasting thoughts and impressions on me and my family and I could only hope to be half the person he was when taking up the cause and representing the down and out people. He left this one line with me early on in our friendship that lasted - oppression observed is oppression tolerated. Like many good people, he left us far too early. I will miss you sorely , but I am so profoundly happy to have known you and have these lasting memories my very good friend. Rest In Peace.

We always knew he would support and love you throughout his life. We also knew he was happy that you found your lifelong partner in Jeannette. Sending hugs to you both, Uncle Rob and Aunt Janice

When I first met Don I was introduced to his quirky sense of humour which is something he never lost and always made me laugh. Most of all Don was a true friend. He was always there to help a friend or the family of a friend or really anyone or anybody who was in need. On many occasions he was there for me and my family and for that I am truly grateful and so very blessed to have called Don our friend!
I wish that he was able to cash in that rain check for dinner with our family one last time.
He will be missed by us all.
Gavin and Jeanette our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this time and know that we are here for you.

What a lovely tribute! I’m so sorry for your loss Gavin, I know how close you were to your dad. May those who love him take solace in the lifetime of memories you all shared. Rest peacefully Don.
