In Celebration of

Dolores Bower

February 25, 1934 -  January 25, 2017

On Wednesday January 25, 2017 our mom Dolores peacefully passed. Our mom gave us the gift of humour and laughter, she loved bingo, casinos, cards, Judge Judy, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, Michael Bublé, and just about anything fun and lively. Her essence will be missed by daughters Cheryl, Lynne, and Michele. Grandkids Sara (Kurt), Skyler, Georgia, Holden, Austin (Shar), Spencer (Abigail), Sam (Karen), Hope and great grand baby Liam. We would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s hospital, paramedic John, who advocated for mom, CCAC, and the incredible staff at Dorothy Ley Hospice. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to Cheryl & Michele’s non-profits www.voicesrockcanada.com and www.boxerrescueontario.com.

My Mom gave me the gift of laughter and a wicked sense of humour. I will miss my Mom terribly, on not so good days she always rubbed my head and let me lay in her lap. I love you Mom.

The best adventure mom and I had was going to the Leaf Game. Karen Geddes, the MLSE manager, made it a night to remember. We ate in the Platinum Lounge (this was complimentary of ACC/MLSE), we were on the jumbotron, we were visited by Wendel Clarke and have his signed jersey and that big guy Carlton, also gave us a jersey. What a night!
