In Celebration of

Diane Casson

On Monday September 12th, Diane slipped the surly bonds of earth surrounded by family. She followed and is now with her beloved husband, Charles. She was a devoted mother to Stephanie, Daphne and Gretchen; grandmother to Adam, Jeremy, Ethan, Kyla and Meredith; aunt to nieces and nephews here and abroad.

Predeceased by her siblings and survived by her sister-in-law Rosemary.

A teacher, florist and professional mother, she touched the lives of her family and many more. Graduate of Havergal College.

A Celebration of Life is planned for later in October. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Dorothy Ley Hospice, Salvation Army, SPCA or the charity of your choice.

Stephanie, Daphne & Gretchen,

We are so sorry to hear about your mum's passing. She was such a lovely and kind person and we all cherished her. We are happy she is reunited with your dad.

Thinking of you all. Please reach out if we can do anything for you.

I'll always remember her warm smile and infectious laugh, the many afternoons spent at the theatre with her. She was one of my high school "mom's" always welcoming any of us crazy ESA students into her home. You will be missed by all who knew you. Hugs and strength to the whole family.

Dearest Stephanie, please accept my heartfelt condolences and much love. Your Mom was an enormously special person, always smiling and laughing, and with a kind word for everyone. I am so grateful for the afternoons and weekends at your house, or days at the cottage. Your Mom always made all of us so welcome, made us feel like we belonged. I am grateful to have known her, she touched more lives than you will ever know, including that of my family and me. Sending love, strength, and healing, Kirsty
