In Celebration of

Dennis Marchetti

December 11, 1955 -  August 12, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce that Dennis passed away. Peacefully with his loving family by his side at Trillium hospital on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Beloved husband of Olga for 33 years; loving father of Daniela and Michael; only son of Ida & John Marchetti.

Always with a positive attitude, sense of humour and very hopeful for the future, Dennis bravely battled cancer for 6 weeks after the diagnosis. Dennis was a wonderful man; loved by so many and he touched many lives.

Dennis, we will miss your mischievous grin, stunning eyes, sense of humour, generous heart and great zest for life.

May you rest in peace.

“God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered “Come to me”. With tearful eyes, we watched you and saw you pass away, and although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating; hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us that He only takes the best."

May you be surrounded with the love of your family and friends during this difficult time.

Dennis was such a proud man, always trying to protect his family and be strong for others. He had a heart of gold and a sense of humor that made him special to those who knew him. He will be sadly missed by all.

Daniela & Michael, your dad loved you both very much, he may be gone in a physical sense but know he will be there to watch over you always. Draw strength from one another and look after your mom.

Olga, know that we are here for you always. You are such a wonderful friend and a good person, draw strength from those of us who love and care for you. Never hesitate to reach out to us! Those memories you hold inside will help you get through these difficult times. Dennis would want you to be happy, the blessing is that he is no longer in pain – he is at peace.

In our prayers... Deb, Rich & Braeden Piché xo
